Get ready to have your taste buds tickled today, I brought in my famous and legendary Fluffy Garlic Bread! 🍞✨
Now, I know what you're thinking: "But did you make it fresh today?" Fear not, my friends, I whipped up these garlicky delights yesterday, so they're still as fluffy and tasty as ever (fingers crossed)! 🤞
But wait, there's more! I've got not one, not two, but THREE variations of garlic bread goodness for you to sink your teeth into:
- Classic Fluffy Garlic Bread 🥖
- Fried Crusty and Fluffy Garlic Bread 🍳
- Oven-Baked Crusty and Fluffy Garlic Bread 🍕
Apparently, I had time to make variations last night. And for those of you with a sensitive palate (or an aversion to soap-flavored food), I made sure to skip the coriander this time around. Also, I hope you do not plan on kissing someone later. 😉💋
I may have been a little heavy-handed with the salt therefore, I also brought margarine and lime juice! It is also on the table do not hesitate to use it. If it is not on the table anymore, it must be in the fridge!
Now, I won't keep you in suspense any longer. Here's what goes into these mouthwatering creations:
Ingredients:
- Wheat Flour
- Granulated sugar
- Yeast
- Oat milk
- Salt
- Vegan butter
- Garlic paste
- Garlic powder
- Baking powder
- Bicarbonate of soda
And if you're feeling adventurous and want to recreate the magic at home, here's the recipe:
- Prepare a starter by combining 30g of flour, 120ml of oat milk, and 4 tbsp of water in a saucepan. Heat the mixture for a few minutes until it thickens and becomes sticky. Set it aside to rest.
- In a large bowl, mix together 750g of flour, 30g of yeast, 1 tsp of salt, and 100g of sugar.
- Create a wet mixture by combining 360ml of oat milk, 130g of melted vegan butter, and the prepared starter.
- Gradually incorporate the wet mixture into the dry mixture, using a wooden spoon.
- Add 200g of garlic paste or garlic fine powder to the dough.
- Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for 90 to 120 minutes.
- After the rest, you may add 4 to 5 tsp of baking powder and 2 tsp of bicarbonate of soda. Briefly knead the dough to mix the added powders evenly.
- Preheat the oven at 180C and transfer the dough in a dish. You can line the dish with baking paper or coat it with vegan butter to prevent sticking.
- Bake the dough in a dish for 30 minutes at 180C.
- After 30 minutes, cover the dish with tin foil and return it to the oven for another 20 to 30 minutes, or until the bread is fully baked. You can check for doneness by inserting a knife into the center of the bread.
- Once baked, slice the bread and enjoy it as is, or for a crusty on the top of the fluffy texture, slice it, coat the slices with oil, and either pan-fry or oven-bake them.
So, get ready for a garlic-infused adventure today!
